Dior Addict Lacquer Stick in 570 LA Pink | First Impressions Review and Swatches

I had trouble finding reviews and swatches for the new Dior Addict Lacquer Sticks, especially in the shade 570 LA Pink. I’ve only had this lipstick for a day, but I wanted to share my first impressions as quickly as possible.

LA Pink is described as a “rosewood,” which is pretty accurate. The finish is pretty shiny, but it’s not glossy. I absolutely love this colour and I will post some swatch comparisons on my Instagram soon. In the picture below, the left swatch is one swipe and the swatch on the right shows the lipstick at full opacity. As you can see, it builds up beautifully and is evenly pigmented.

I will always go for a moisturizing formula over a long-wearing one, so this lipstick is perfect for me. It is very comfortable to wear throughout the day, even as it disappears. The colour transfers quite a bit, especially if you’re impatient like me and don’t wait for the lipstick to ‘set’ before eating or drinking. I found that if I waited about thirty minutes and then drank my tea, less lipstick transferred and I was actually left with a fairly intense stain. The stain faded after about six hours.

As you’d expect from Dior, the packaging is stunning. It’s similar to the Dior Addict Lip Glow, but the outer case is a gorgeous translucent eggplant. It feels sturdy, luxurious, and compact.

I’ll post a full review in a few months once I’ve worn this a bit more. So far I don’t think this is worth the money and I probably won’t buy any other colours, but I don’t regret purchasing this one.

Let me know if you have any questions. Have you tried this formula or are you thinking of trying it?
